If you have private health cover with Extras, you may be eligible to receive a rebate on dietetic services. The HICAPS facility is available at our rooms. For further details about what your level of cover provides, please contact your health fund directly.

PRIVATE HEALTH

Most private health funds will provide dietitian rebates on individual consultations.   The rebate will depend on your level of cover. Please contact your health fund to see what rebate you will be entitled to.  

A referral is not required to see the dietitian, however it can often provide useful information regarding your medical history.

CONCESSION CARD HOLDERS

Pension/health care card holders are offered a discount fee.

MEDICARE

With some chronic health conditions, you may be eligible to receive dietetic services through a Team Care Plan or Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) prepared by your GP.  If you feel you may be eleigible for a Care Plan please see your GP.

DVA

Hannah is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a Gold Card, you will not have to pay for your visit to the dietitian,

If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral before visiting the dietitian.
